Font Size: Tampa, Florida: Sunday Michigan State's 350-member marching band will perform at Busch Gardens Sunday before playing at Monday's Outback Bowl game between the Spartans and Georgia. The band, which has bussed to Florida in previous years, flew on one giant charter aircraft out of Lansing on Thursday and will return home immediately following the game. The cost is $300,000 for the entire excursion and will be taken from bowl revenues. MSU gets six minutes at halftime Monday in a program that has been lengthened ten minutes from reguarl season hafltime shows. The band has performed at Clearwater beach and the Ybor City pep rally Saturday night before its activities through the remainder of the trip. Some 63 seniors will perform at their last football game and 14 of them ended up as fifth year students who performed at five bowl games.
